Coach Hill is in his 7th year coaching at Kathleen High School and 14th year coaching in Polk County.
Coach Hill began his high school coaching career at Lake Gibson High School. He was the JV football head coach from 1999-2002 and varsity wide receivers coach for the 2003 state runner-up team. Also while at Lake Gibson, Coach Hill was an assistant varsity baseball coach.
In 2004 Coach Hill was hired as the head baseball coach at Kathleen High School. While coaching baseball he was also a varsity football assistant coach, where he coached quarterbacks and receivers.
In 2007, after a historical baseball coaching career, Coach Hill resigned as the head baseball coach to become the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator for head coach Irving Strickland and the Kathleen football team.
Coach Hill graduated from the University of South Florida in 1996 with a degree in education. He currently teaches geometry at Kathleen.
Coach Hill has been married for 18 years to his lovely wife Pat. They have a beautiful 8-year-old daughter named Paige.
