 About COACH STRICKLAND

Coach Strickland is entering his 10th year of coaching at Kathleen Senior High School and his 5th year as the Head Football Coach.

Coach Strickland graduated from Kathleen Senior High School in 1991 and received his BS degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from The Prestigious Florida A & M University in Tallahassee, Florida. In 2010, Coach Strickland received his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.

Coach Strickland is a member of New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lakeland where Rev. Kendrick Gardner is the residing pastor. He is also a member of the BEST, the Prestigious, and the Illustrious Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated.

Coach Strickland is also a teacher at Kathleen Senior High School, where he has been employed for the last 7 years.

Coach Strickland has one daughter, Wa’Nae M. Strickland, great family and friends, and plans to get married one day.
