Coach Butts has been coaching at Kathleen since 2004.

Coach Butts is a 2003 graduate who played at Kathleen from 1999-2002. He was a first team all-county selection by The Leder for the 2001 and 2002 seasons. Coach Butts still holds the bench press record at Kathleen High School.

Coach Butts attend Averett University in Virginia following graduation at Kathleen.

Coach Butts has been married for 6 years to Betzaida. He has 2 kids - Justin, 8 and Emanuel, 2 - and one more on the way.
