Winter Haven High School's junior varsity put up 16 points, while both varsity squads managed a field goal each and the Blue Devils took a 19-3 win over Kathleen in the teams' annual spring football game.

Levi Borders, a rising sophomore, threw for 85 yards on four completions, and converted a 2-point conversion with a pass to Stephan Sabur in the first quarter, while the JV squads squared off.

"Levi has a lot of smoothness," Winter Haven coach Charlie Tate said. "He played well."

Walt Bridges ran for two first-quarter touchdowns for the Blue Devils.

Kathleen added a 35-yard field goal as time expired in the first half, and Bo Snively hit a 20-yarder for the Blue Devils with just under three minutes to play in the game.

Kathleen struggled to get any offense going outside a 61-yard pass to Brayun Andrews that led to the field goal.
