The Red Devils did not waste any time scoring as just 90 seconds as cornerback Victor Troutman picked off a errant pass and scored from 41 yards out. Jesuit quarterback Bobby Eveld, who is heralded as one of the best quarterbacks in the state, struggled through the air as he went just 6-for-20 with one score and one interception in the first half. The senior did not play in the second half. Eveld's touchdown pass came midway through the first quarter when he hit Jordan Perhosky from 6 yards out to even the score. The Red Devils received a boost on offense from receiver Brayon Andrews, who he scored twice while totaling 212 yards. The Red Devils' Achilles' heel was penalties as they committed 15 for 103 yards. They also had two turnovers in the red zone. Jesuit had just one penalty and that one brought back a 70-yard score in the third quarter that would have cut the lead to 21-14. Quarterback Issac O'Neal was efficient for Kathleen, going 8-for-15 for 110 yards and one touchdown. The scoring pass went to Marcus Cunningham from 9 yards out late in the third quarter to give the host team a 21-7 lead. Kathleen starts district play next week at Lake Region.
