Receivers have been one of the strengths for Kathleen ever since the Red Devils went into a spread offense attack. Kathleen returns 5 receivers this fall including All-County selections, Marcus Cunningham and Jacques Mackeroy.

Marcus Cunningham, last years team leader in receiving yards, has been very vocal during the spring as he steps up to take a leadership role entering his senior season. Although he was unable to participate during the spring game Cunningham still made his presence known during spring drills.

After not being involved in the offense a lot last year, Vic McClendon changed his attitude during the spring workouts and is eager to become more reliable. Coaches were impressed with McClendon's progress during the spring and are expecting him to contribute more in the fall this year.

With depth and experience at the position, the receiving corps should create more production in the fall.
